Is HTruths free?
Yes. Solo play, live group games and custom polls are all completely free.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. Players never sign up. They open the link or scan the QR code and start playing. Hosts of live games get a Host PIN so they can return to their sessions from any device, and poll creators get a private link to manage their poll. No email or password is needed either way.
How does HTruths work?
Every question follows three steps: vote, predict, reveal. First you give your honest answer. Then you predict what share of people answered the same way you did. Finally the real split is revealed and you see how well you read the crowd.
How many people can play a live game?
There is no player limit. A live HTruths game works for a few friends, a team of 20, a full classroom or a large event. Everyone joins from their own phone or computer.
Can I use HTruths as an icebreaker for a remote team on Zoom?
Yes. Host a live session, then share the join code or QR code in your Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call, and everyone plays from their own device. Guessing how teammates answered is a quick way to find out how well a team knows each other, and a round takes just a few minutes.
Does HTruths work in a classroom?
Yes. Teachers host a live session and students join with a code and a nickname, without creating accounts. Optional profile questions, such as grade or team, let you break the results down by group. It works as a short icebreaker or as a discussion starter, since the reveal shows where the class agrees and disagrees.
How is HTruths different from Kahoot or Mentimeter?
Kahoot is built around quiz questions with right and wrong answers, and Mentimeter is built around live polls that show results. HTruths combines voting with prediction: you vote, predict how everyone else voted, then see the reveal. You score by reading the crowd rather than by knowing trivia, so every opinion question becomes a game.
Can I create my own poll?
Yes. Write a question with up to five answers, choose how long it runs (six hours to a week), and share the link or QR code. Anyone who answers can also start their own copy of the question to compare their circle with everyone else who has answered.
